How It Works

Care at Wynd Psychiatry follows a clear, step-by-step process designed to help you understand what to expect and plan your care.

Practice Policies
  • Cancellations - Please provide at least 24hr notice for cancellations. Late cancellations and no-shows may incur a fee.

  • Controlled Medications - Wynd Psychiatry does not prescribe Schedule II controlled substances, including stimulant medications for ADHD. When clinically appropriate, non-stimulant treatment options may be considered. All prescriptions are provided within the context of scheduled appointments and ongoing care.

  • Paperwork & Evaluations - Wynd Psychiatry is focused on ongoing outpatient treatment and does not offer one-time evaluations, disability determinations, court-related assessments, or completing of administrative paperwork for third parties. Documentation related to active treatment may be provided as clinically appropriate.

  • Communication - Routine messages are handled via secure messaging, with responses typically within 1-2 business days. Emergencies should be directed to 911 or 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).

  • Telehealth - Services are provided through HIPAA-compliant telehealth across New Jersey.

  • Patient Population - I see adults (18+) for outpatient psychiatric care.

If you have any questions about the process, a brief consultation can help clarify next steps.
