Meaning Behind "Wynd"
(pronounced like the breeze - "wind")
The name evokes breath, movement, and quiet strength - the steady forces that carry us through change. It reflects the space Wynd Psychiatry seeks to offer: calm, clear, and purposeful.
The word "wynd" comes from Old English, meaning a narrow path. It is a reminder that healing often unfolds step by step along a unique journey for each person.
